A container port shore power (AMP) system refers to equipment that allows container ships berthed in port to shut down their auxiliary engines and connect to shore power supplies to power their lighting, communication, refrigeration, pumping, and other systems.
System Components: Shore-Side Power Supply: High-voltage substation, frequency converter/transformer system, frequency converter, transformer, control system, dockside connection system, high-voltage connector (HV connector), and cable management system (CMS).
On-board System: Provides shore power (AMP) retrofitting for container ships, including: installation of onboard container receiving substations, safety protection systems, and cable management systems connected to shore power, as well as automatic grid connection devices in the engine room. Also provides services for both new and existing container ship shore power (AMP) systems: scheme design, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), classification society acceptance, and training.
