Shore power (AMP) systems are end-to-end fully integrated solutions, encompassing every link from shore substations to shipboard receiving equipment. They enable ships to shut down their onboard generators during berthing and utilize the shore-side power system, thereby achieving energy conservation and emission reduction.
Core System Components:
Shore-side: High-voltage connection (HV Connection): High-voltage power supply from the port power grid, shore power(AMP)substation, frequency converter system for key equipment, cable management system, and shore power (AMP) control system.
Shipboard: Ship connection box, shipboard substation, synchronization panel, and ship energy management system (SEMS).
Special considerations for bulk carriers: Space constraints, loading and unloading operations, adaptability to global shipping routes, and feasibility of modifications.
