The primary function of the shore power (AMP) E-House is to convert port grid power (usually 10kV high voltage) into ship-compatible power (such as 6.6kV/440V/60Hz), ensuring safe power supply and management.
Power Conversion: Includes a built-in dry-type transformer (converts high voltage to low voltage), a frequency converter (adjusts frequency for ship motors), and a filter (maintains power stability), supporting multiple voltage and frequency outputs to meet international ship standards.
Safety and Metering: Equipped with overload protection, leakage protection, and lightning protection devices; interfaces feature anti-misplugging design and insulation monitoring; integrated smart meter (records electricity consumption) and IC card payment module, supporting self-service charging on board.
Environmental Adaptability: Utilizes salt spray and corrosion-resistant materials to withstand the humid, salty environment of ports, features wind and sand protection, and some models support low-temperature start-up, making them suitable for ports in cold regions.
