The port industry's 3D digital twin monitoring system combines GIS geographic data, equipment control system data, and business management system data to enable visualized and intelligent management of the entire container terminal operation chain. Its main functions include: 1) Coordinated scheduling of vessels and equipment, optimizing the paths of quay cranes, container trucks, and yard cranes with AI algorithms to reduce equipment idle runs;
2) Monitoring equipment status and performing predictive maintenance by collecting real-time vibration and temperature data from quay crane lifting mechanisms and yard crane traveling mechanisms to forecast failure risks; and 3) Optimizing yard space by simulating different stacking strategies to increase container stacking density. The system also supports integration with VTS (Vessel Traffic Management System) to access vessel dynamic information and plan berthing operations in advance.
